STAV Publishing designs, develops and distributes primary and secondary publications and resources to support science teachers and students, including VCE Trial Exams.

Our range includes STEPS and ScienceTrek multimedia kits, teacher handbooks, Brainbox electronics kits, microscopes, blackline master booklets and many others. Check our catalogues or click on ‘More information’ for descriptions of our resources.

Trial Exams
STAV Publishing produces VCE Trial Exams for Units 1 – 4 Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology. Trial exams are available for the current year (hard copy only) and past exams back to 2000 are also available in either hard copy or on CD, ready for posting on your intranet.

Student Activities - Adapting to Climate Change 
STAV Publishing has produced a suite of activities about adapting to climate change. The activities, suitable for VELS levels 5 & 6, are available online as pdf files. Yvonne Sanders, co-author of STAV Publishing's very popular Better Links book (now out of print), is the author. The files have live links embedded and will work well with an electronic whiteboard, or they can be printed in hardcopy and used in conjuction with the accompanying teacher notes to access the relevant urls. The full package includes fifteen activities (seven for level 5 and eight for level 6), suggested answers, links to VELS and comprehensive teacher notes. These activities are free and can be accessed on our website Adapting to Climate Change Activities.
