VCE Conference Series 2010

The VCE programs are available online and have also been distributed to STAV Individual Members and School Subscribers with the December edition of Contact.

VCE Psychology Units 3 & 4 Implementation Workshops

The VCAA has contracted the Science Teachers’ Association of Victoria Inc (STAV) to organise a series of 2 hour workshops statewide. The workshops are for teachers of Units 3 & 4 VCE Psychology. The workshops will be held between 22nd March 2010 and the 30th April 2010. More information.

The Prime Minister's Prizes for Science

Nominations are sought for two prestigious and publicly celebrated national science teaching awards. These Prizes are awarded to teachers who have made outstanding contributions to science teaching

and who are on the staff of a primary or secondary school and are currently active in science education at the time of their nomination. Each Prize comprises a silver medallion and a cash component of $50,000.

Closing Date: Friday, 21 May 2010, 5.00 p.m. AEST
